Isadora Agency: best for brand and website built by the same team
Editor’s pick
The team that sets the brand direction also builds the website.
Isadora Agency's clients are mid-market and enterprise companies, and its identity work and site builds stay with one group of people, so nothing passes to a second vendor before launch. NCCER, the construction education nonprofit, came to it for a new identity and a new site together, and one engagement delivered the stacked-E logo in construction orange along with a custom WordPress build. Its 10 to 49 people are senior specialists, and clients deal with experienced leads directly. After APS Payroll's relaunch, conversions rose 72%.
ADVANTAGES
+ Hilco Global's new positioning and its new site came from the same team: 25 websites became one hub, and total traffic rose 171%
+ APS Payroll's rebuilt site lifted demo requests 28%, and SEO and conversion testing can stay with the same team after launch
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- With a team of 10 to 49, a rollout across dozens of country sites fits the global networks further down
- Its pricing covers a full engagement, so a template site or a visual refresh would pay for more than it needs
BEST FOR
Mid-market and enterprise companies whose identity and site should come from one team, like Hilco Global, whose 25 sites merged into a single hub as total traffic rose 171%.

Three decades of designing for brands that sell in many countries at once.
AKQA designs brand experiences for websites and AI interfaces, and it has done digital work for UPS and Montblanc. Vodafone Italy brought it in to redesign its national website; bounce rate fell 38% and check-out funnel performance rose 36%.
ADVANTAGES
+ Seven Cannes Lions in 2026, including a Design Gold Lion for Volvo Cars Safety Standard
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- WPP announced in February 2026 that AKQA would join Ogilvy and VML under a WPP Creative umbrella, so ask how the account team will be structured
- Pricing isn't published, and there are no public reviews yet

Carmakers and telecom brands like Porsche, whose AKQA-built Motorsport Hub drew 645% more users year over year.

DEPT: best for B2B sites for industrial manufacturers
Web and commerce sold with the campaigns as one practice, staffed on five continents.
At DEPT, web design sits inside the customer experience and commerce groups, next to the storefront and campaign work, so a multinational can buy it all together. For Glen Dimplex it built a white-label Drupal design system that now carries more than 80 sites for over 20 brands. Its client list leans toward technology brands such as NVIDIA and Arm, though it also built a visitor site for Brookfield Zoo.
ADVANTAGES
+ Webby Agency & Network of the Year honors every year from 2022 through 2025
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Its reviewed projects most often land between $200,000 and $999,999
- With more than 30 offices on five continents, get the staffing office and day-to-day lead named in the proposal
BEST FOR
Industrial manufacturers like OMRON Automation Americas, whose new B2B site raised organic search traffic more than 15%.

Code and Theory: best for Fortune 500 site consolidations sponsored by the C-suite
Half creative, half engineering, and pitched straight at the boardroom.
Because Code and Theory's teams are split evenly between creative and engineering talent, the agency that frames a program for the boardroom is also the one that builds it. T. Rowe Price came with 47 sites across six languages; Code and Theory brought them together as one site on the Beacon design system, which it evolved for the job, and traffic grew 61%.
ADVANTAGES
+ E-commerce sales at Stanley Black & Decker climbed 40%, and JBL's AI referrals grew 2,434%
+ Named AI Pioneer at The One Show in 2026
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Roughly three-quarters of its clients are enterprises earning more than $1 billion a year
- Its published minimum is $250,000+
BEST FOR
Enterprises merging many sites under a C-suite sponsor, such as T. Rowe Price, which went from 47 sites to one as traffic rose 61%.

Instrument: best for enterprise software sites migrating 1,000-plus pages
A Portland studio that pairs brand systems with website builds, owned outright by Stagwell since 2022.
AlphaSense wanted its marketing site rebuilt from the ground up. Instrument redrew the information architecture and designed a library of more than 50 components. It then moved more than 1,700 pages onto a Sanity and Next.js build, and early analytics showed a 24% rise in the conversion rate. For ServiceNow it made the 2025 rebrand, including a custom typeface family and an icon library, which debuted at Knowledge 2025.
ADVANTAGES
+ Sales per day on Oura's redesigned store rose 42% a month after launch
+ The Oura site was named a Webby Honoree in 2025, in the Best Visual Design category
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Engagements start at $250,000
- Specialists from across the Stagwell network can be added to a program, so confirm who staffs the core team
BEST FOR
Enterprise software companies moving a very large site, like AlphaSense, whose 1,700-page rebuild lifted its conversion rate 24%.

Valtech: best for large health-system websites
An enterprise platform agency backed by BC Partners since 2021, with staff in the thousands.
BaptistHealth.com serves a nine-hospital system with 400-plus points of care. Valtech's redesign of the site came with a 70% jump in total visits in fiscal 2022 and 75% more organic clicks within six months of launch. Valtech builds on enterprise platforms such as Adobe and Sitecore, and in 2024 it completed its acquisition of Kin + Carta.
ADVANTAGES
+ Organic search impressions for BaptistHealth.com rose 65% in the six months after the redesign
+ For ABB Robotics it built Robotics One on SAP CX, a single customer portal that joins commerce with installed-base data
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Its minimum is $250,000+, and nearly half of its cost-disclosed reviews, 21 of 49, ran $200,000 or more
- Acquired agencies make up part of the firm, so ask which legacy team will staff the work
BEST FOR
Multi-hospital health systems like Baptist Health, where total visits rose 70% after its redesign.

Work & Co: best for e-commerce rollouts across dozens of countries
A Brooklyn digital product company founded in 2013 that joined Accenture Song in January 2024.
Work & Co designs and builds websites and apps as digital products. For Aesop it redesigned e-commerce end to end on Hybris and rolled the new store out to 43 countries; global e-commerce revenue rose 40% and visitors 88%. Vistaprint's Masks site took two weeks to launch and brought in $100 million during its first year.
ADVANTAGES
+ Its Lyft.com redesign gave drivers and riders separate paths and lifted driver conversion 125% in the pilot
+ Lennar's new home-buying site doubled its conversion rate
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Inside Accenture Song, its work can connect to a wider Accenture program, so ask how the two are scoped
- Its published numbers skew toward consumer e-commerce, and it publishes no minimum

Consumer brands taking one store to many countries, like Aesop, whose 43-country redesign lifted global e-commerce revenue 40%.

Fantasy: best for websites rebuilt alongside a flagship app
Product design first, with websites and in-car screens on the same roster.
Fantasy has designed digital products for 25 years, so a company whose website sits next to an app or an in-car screen can get a site built to the product's standard. For LIV Golf it rebuilt the native apps and the website on a new backend, and the apps took 72 days to go live.
ADVANTAGES
+ The Ford Bronco HMI design system, for a vehicle that sold more than 143,000 units in its first year
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Product design comes first, so a marketing-site-only project should confirm the scope fits
- Pricing isn't published
BEST FOR
Companies whose website ships beside an app, like LIV Golf, which had its rebuilt apps live in 72 days.

Deloitte Digital: best for site rebuilds inside Salesforce or Adobe programs
The creative consultancy that operates as part of Deloitte Consulting, with 47 studios worldwide.
For Intel, Deloitte Digital ran the CMS selection and a full re-architecture of Intel.com, a multi-language site that draws more than 15 million unique visitors each month. Jackson Family Wines got a Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform for more than 40 wine brands. After the Kendall-Jackson site relaunched in June 2024, first-time orders from non-club members rose 87% year over year.
ADVANTAGES

+ A Leader for the second straight year in the Digital Experience Services Magic Quadrant that Gartner published in 2025
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Web design is bought as a consulting engagement, and its published site work sits beside Salesforce and Adobe platform programs
- Tens of thousands of staff, with no published minimum

Enterprises rebuilding a site as one piece of a Salesforce or Adobe rollout, like Jackson Family Wines, whose Kendall-Jackson relaunch lifted first-time orders from non-club buyers 87%.

CQL: best for retail brands replatforming onto Shopify
A Grand Rapids e-commerce agency and Shopify Platinum Partner, in business for more than 30 years.
Beyond Shopify, CQL builds on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and BigCommerce, and it has acquired Riess Group, another Shopify Platinum partner. ALDO's replatform onto Shopify with CQL lifted conversion more than 20% year over year across the first two months. Denon got a full digital rebuild on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
ADVANTAGES
+ Mobile conversion on ALDO's new store rose more than 30% year over year in its first two months
+ Brighton's Shopify Plus redesign won a Platinum MUSE award
THINGS TO CONSIDER
- Projects start at $250,000+, and two of its four reviewed projects ran $200,000 or more
- Its published work is retail e-commerce, so a marketing site for a service or software company sits outside its usual brief

How to choose a web design agency
Size the program before you build the shortlist. A company website with one launch date is a different purchase from a rebuild that spans dozens of country sites. Instrument, CQL, Valtech and Code and Theory all publish a $250,000 minimum. DEPT’s floor is $100,000, and the band that shows up most often in its reviews is $200,000 to $999,999. AKQA and Deloitte Digital publish no minimum, and each has thousands of staff.
Check whether the website is the whole job. Deloitte Digital’s published site rebuilds sit beside Salesforce and Adobe platform work, and Work & Co rolled Aesop’s e-commerce redesign out to 43 countries. When the brief is a brand and a website for one company, ask a platform-led firm how much of its proposed scope the site itself needs.
Get the day-to-day team named. Ask for the day-to-day lead by name in the proposal, and ask how much of that person’s time the account gets. Ownership changes matter as well: AKQA is moving under WPP Creative, and Work & Co now sits inside Accenture Song.
Mid-market and enterprise companies buying a new brand and website together should start with Isadora Agency. The same senior people, 10 to 49 of them, set the brand direction and then build the site, as they did for NCCER, whose stacked-E logo and custom WordPress site came out of one engagement. The larger firms here earn their place on the very large briefs, such as a board-sponsored consolidation at Fortune 500 scale or a store rolled out to dozens of countries.
The bottom line
Isadora Agency leads this list because mid-market and enterprise companies can have their brand and site handled by one team there, and it publishes the results, among them a 72% rise in APS Payroll’s conversions. The other nine firms fit narrower, larger jobs, like merging a Fortune 500 company’s sites or rebuilding a hospital system’s web presence.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best web design agency in 2026?
Isadora Agency ranks first on this list. It fits mid-market and enterprise companies looking for one senior team to shape the brand and build the site, and its rebuilt site for APS Payroll lifted conversions 72%. For a C-suite-sponsored consolidation at Fortune 500 scale, look at Code and Theory. A consumer brand taking its store to dozens of countries can look at Work & Co.
How much does a professional website cost?
Isadora Agency prices a website at $95,000 to $110,000. Among the other firms on this list, DEPT’s published minimum is $100,000+, and Instrument, Valtech, CQL and Code and Theory each publish a minimum of $250,000+. AKQA, Work & Co, Fantasy and Deloitte Digital don’t publish one. Beyond the minimum, integrations and content migration move the final figure at any of these firms.
How long does a website redesign take?
Timelines follow scope. Instrument took Iru from a new brand to a live site in about three months, while a multi-brand consolidation runs longer: Code and Theory spent six months moving 30+ Stanley Black & Decker brand sites onto one architecture. Ask the agency for a phased plan with a date for each stage before you sign.
Should we redesign our website or start over?
Redesign when the content and search rankings are worth keeping and the problem is structure or design. Keep the existing URL structure where you can and redirect any URL that changes, so the site holds its search traffic. Start over when the site no longer describes what the company sells or the CMS stops your team from publishing.
What should a web design agency include?
A full engagement covers research, UX, visual design, development and content migration, plus launch support and training so your team can run the site. Ask which parts the agency does itself and which it hands to partners, and whether SEO and conversion testing continue after launch.
How do we compare web design agencies?
Start with live sites and case studies that report results under a named client. Then check whether the agency’s minimum fits your budget and whether its typical client looks like your company. Review sites help, but review counts vary widely by agency size, so read them alongside the case studies and at least one reference call.
